  • Students will identify and recognize democratic principles and practices in the social studies curriculum, in K-6 classrooms, and in society.
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to appropriately plan for teaching social studies.
  • Teacher candidates will experience and participate in various strategies appropriate for teaching K-6 social studies.
